You may have seen the ads and banners for the OUR COMMUNITY TABLE EVENT scheduled for August 18th in Eagle. If you missed the July 31 deadline to reserve a table, a waiting list has been started. There will be three open tables available on a first come first serve basis.

If you are new to town and not familiar with the event, the Community Table is an opportunity to join family, friends and neighbors for dinner down the center of Broadway Street with the iconic Castle Peak as the backdrop. Participants are encouraged to bring food, drink and table service. Tables, chairs and table coverings are set up for participants.

This event was started by local residents who are committed to building community in Eagle. Eagle is a vibrant community full of diversity in opinions and ideas: yet on this night, we focus on our commonalities as we eat together at one table in the heart of our town. We reach out for friendships to be made, embrace those we love, celebrate the lives of those we have lost, cheer our accomplishments and relish the beautiful place in which we live.
