Beaver Creek’s most advanced runs from the Birds of Prey across Grouse Mountain to Larkspur Bowl make up the Talons terrain, which is certain to test even the most experienced skiers and riders. Beaver Creek has established “The Talons Challenge” as the standard for taming the terrain. This program is exclusively offered to students of the Beaver Creek Ski and Snowboard Schools or during the one-day public Talons Challenge event on Saturday, February 25th, 2017.
For the 14th year, Talons Challenge will showcase the best steeps Beaver Creek has to offer. Over 26,000 vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain and in Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 14 runs and earn your spot on the Talon’s Wall-of-Fame.
The event is limited to the first 1,250 registrants. This event does sell out, so register early to and secure your spot!
Your registration fee includes lunch and a beverage. All finishers will receive a special gift, a commemorative Talons Challenge pin, lanyard and credential, and a chance to win amazing prizes at the après party raffle at the Talons Restaurant! Participants must supply their own ski pass or lift ticket for this event.
