2018 Vail Valley Neighborhood Trick-or-Treating

But if you’re looking for the traditional neighborhood haunts to stroll with your wee ones on Halloween, here is a helpful guide updated for 2018. Below are some tips on how to spook it up like a Local.
a. Downtown Minturn Annual Halloween Celebration

b. Miller Ranch Neighborhood, Edwards CO

This neighborhood goes ALL OUT for Halloween! You’ll see homes decorated as complete pirate ships, haunted homes, lights, fog, cobwebs and tons of spooky stuff.
Miller Ranch Parking Tip: Park near the neighborhood in designated lots. Or you can park at the local High School just up the street and walk over.
c. Eagle Ranch – Village Homes Neighborhood, Eagle, CO

Eagle Ranch is a fantastic neighborhood to Trick or Treat. The homeowners decorate to the nines, and this is a family friendly neighborhood with a mix of townhomes and single family homes centrally located around the business district of Eagle Ranch. When you’re done trick-or-treating, you can walk over to Luigi’s Pasta House, The Dusty Boot or Seven Hermits Brewing Company for a bite!
Eagle Ranch Parking Tip: Park in the public parking areas behind the movie theater and business district and walk east.
d. The Bluffs Neighborhood, Eagle, CO

The Bluffs is a neighborhood located near Eagle Valley Elementary and Middle Schools in Eagle. The residents in this neighborhood have a ball with Halloween. Lots of decorations and kiddos running the neighborhood for treats.
Bluffs Parking Tip: Plenty of parking in the School parking lots. There is also a small parking lot at the Boneyard trailhead on the east side of the Bluffs Drive loop.
e. The Orchards and Brush Creek Village Neighborhoods, Eagle, CO

Two fabulous neighborhoods in Eagle that are safe and friendly for trick-or-treating, and right next to each other! The Orchards neighborhood of single family homes is located right next to Brush Creek Village neighborhood of townhomes and duplex properties. Many families live here and your kids won’t be disappointed.
Parking Tip: Park where available on the street or at the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink and walk over.
f. Red Canyon Townhomes, Eagle, CO

Red Canyon Towhnomes are a neighborhood of side-by-side townhomes on two loop streets. With many families living in Red Canyon with small children, this is fun and safe place to trick-or-treat. Residents adorn their porches with decorations, cobwebs and colored lights.
Parking Tip: Park on the street, Nogal Road, and walk through the two loop neighborhood of Christian Court and Chelsea Court.
g. Buckhorn Valley Neighborhood, Gypsum, CO

Buckhorn Valley is located just south of the Eagle Jet Center off Cooley Mesa Road. A quiet neighborhood of homes with lots of families, there is always a good crowd for trick-or-treating.
Parking Tip: You may park on the street for a short period of time (not overnight).
h. Chatfield Corners Neighborhood, Gypsum, CO

Chatfield Corners is a wonderful neighborhood of single family homes and townhomes with lots of families. Your kids will be safe and you will enjoy the decorated front porches here!

i. Willowstone Neighborhood, Gypsum, CO

A beautiful neighborhood in Gypsum that winds along the Eagle River. Safe and quiet, the residents here welcome little trick-or-treaters with open arms.
